What is involved in a site visit and assessment?

In order to provide a proper assessment, we generally need to visit the site. Here, we'll take notes, measurements, and chat with you about your goals for the project.

We'll take this information back to the workshop and, depending on the Garden Design tier you'd like, we'll provide you with a proposal.

We listen to your requirements and ideas, before putting our expert attention to solving the layout and design problems.

The preliminary concept includes consideration of neighbouring flora, primary lines of sight, focal areas and surrounding vistas.

What is the Growing Well design process?

We've organised our methods into three steps:

        STEP 1: Initial Site Visit

Your journey begins with discussing your goals, preferences, and budget. Growing Well will walk through creative outdoor improvements with you.

STEP 2: Concept Design and Landscape Plans

Helping you achieve your vision - We create a concept design, illustrating the layout and features of your garden. Detailed landscape plans ensure every aspect is planned meticulously, from planting plans to design concepts.

        STEP 3: Realising the Vision

Once the design is finalised, the project moves to the construction phase. Our expert project managers oversee the process, ensuring everything runs smoothly and meets the highest standards.

Do you help with council and design applications?

Growing Well can assist with your Council Development Application or DA. As we regularly submit plans for Sydney Councils, we are able to make sure the application is prepared correctly and thereby assessed sooner. We can act on the client’s behalf and submit all necessary plans and paperwork to the relevant Council, addressing the separate requirements.

In the case that your project is eligible for a Complying Development Certificate and meets relevant Planning Policy, your garden design may not require a DA. Growing Well has submitted landscape plans for local DA ‘s to relevant councils and we will be able to support you.

David installed a green wall inside our pool area, to give some colour and life to a drab wall... He followed up a few weeks later to make sure it was growing nicely, and visited to make some minor adjustments to the irrigation system to allow it to function better. We're extremely happy with the living wall, and support from David.
