LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Entertainment Area

A family entertainment area expands outwards at the rear of this new home creatively using retaining walls to create a sunken seating space providing comfort and intamacy for family and friends.

A successful blend of landscape materials is applied prominently featuring facia stack stone walls for the seating and Australian hardwood deck and screens achiving a contemporary design.

LANDSCAPE DESIGN
Courtyard Feature

A selection of landscaping plants that survive well in the dry enables this charming formal design to make a lasting impression.

Imported natural stone travertine provides a quality finish to the entrance area. Symmetry is achieved in a garden design centred with established palms in a raised bed balanced and a pair of bold rustic water features on each side of the courtyard.

GARDEN DESIGN
Outdoor Entertaining

This garden improvement involved hard-landscaping works bringing new life to a Victorian Terrace. Neat garden walls frame the outdoor entertaining table and hardwood seat, and mondo grass softens the borders.

Terraced Garden

A steeply sloped garden is given a transformation with recycled stone, railway sleepers and drought tolerant. Variety in selection of landscaping materials creates contrast and interest. Included here; sandstone coloured pavers, natural stack stone facia, hardwood and pebble mulch.

Native trees serve as the focal points and the tiers which form the garden design are rustic sleepers. Stackstone walling delivers a striking effect against the paving and is wonderful when placed in courtyard locations

New Home

new homeAt this new home site some anticipated preparation was required before achieving appropriate and accurate levels for the rear deck and lawn. The foundations were set enabling landscape garden elements to come together.

The pay off was balance and harmony in the main rear garden with lawn adjoining the deck, and an eye catching cycad feature at the front entrance.

Steep Slope

stepThe Landscaping task at this site was to gain use of a neglected rear yard that was not inviting due to a steep slope.

This design involved defining two key tiers at the rear of the house and forming an open space with improved utility. The result was ample room for entertaining; a garden table, barbecue, a spa, garden beds to a depth of one meter or greater. All accessible through double doors drawing you onto the timber deck.
